"My" William BOWLIN(G) b. 1821-22 and his wife Cynthia HALL lived in Lee Co. Virginia and had about 15 children. Three of the sons were Hiram Crawford BOWLIN b. 1839/40 (m. Emily RUTHERFORD), David BOWLIN b. about 1845 (m. Melvina BLANKENSHIP), and Toby S. M. BOWLIN b. 1860-61 (m. Elizabeth Varner). Hiram and Emily moved to Madison Co. Kentucky about 1866. I do not know what happened to David and Melvina, whether they had children, or whether David married a second time.

Most of William and Cynthia's children used the name BOWLIN (no G) and most of them stayed in Lee Co. VA. I do not know about any murder in KY.
