I recently recieved papers from a newly found cousin in IA. The gave me the following info. The Anderson in your John's name makes me belive that my Jarrod and your John may have been brothers. Hope we can conect!

Married Elizabeth Anderson 10 Aug 1764
Children: Jarrod (Jared) Bowlin b. 15 July 1765 in Halifax co. VA; d. 3 April 1850 in Rockingham NC

JARROD BOWLIN married Anne Roan b 10 Oct 1767 in Piitsylvania co. VA
children: Rodney Bowlin b. 8 June 1784 in Henry co. VA; d. 23 February 1835 in Perry co. IL

RODNEY BOWLIN married Trisa(Tricy) Harris 19 November 1807 in Rockingham VA. Trisa was born 10 June 1791 in Rockingham VA and died 20 June 1878 in Perry co. IL
children: James Bowlin b. 6 Aug 1822 in Smith co. TN; d. 14 April 1912 in Warren co. IA

JAMES BOWLIN married Mary (Polly) Bowlin
