I'm afraid I know little about the Bowler family and I'm not a genealogist. I am a historian in Stafford and am finishing a book on county officials. I've been attempting to find a little biographical information on each official to include as footnotes.

Someone sent me information on Reubin (1800-1856). He was the son of Charles Bowler and was born in Caroline County, Virginia. Around 1819 he married Mildred Jones (c.1802-c.1834). In 1835 he married his second wife, Hannah Garner (born 1815).

I wish you luck with your search for Francis T. Bowler. I've not come across him in any of the land records I've worked with in Stafford.
