John Bowie b c 1841 m Ann Thain b c 1850 both of Buckie are your great grandparents.
John died 4 August 1915 Buckie and Ann died 27 Februray 1934.
John's parents were William Bowie (b c 1920 d 29 June 1888) and Jane Ann Cowie (b 11 August 1822 d 12 September 1890)
Ann Thain's parents were Alexander Thain(? - ?)and Margaret McEwen or McEwan (b C 1829).
