Looking for a Jacob Bowie from Dalkeith, Scotland or Edinburgh vicinity. He was married to Kate/Katherine Bernard Nelson. Birthdate would be c. 1800-1825. It appears he and his family emigrated to Mercer County, Pennsylvania - his children were all born in Scotland (some in Dalkeith, others in Newton) and all died in the United States. Children of Jacob & Kate were:
