Last week I posted my branch of Thomas Bowie's family with the children of James Robertson Bowie, who was the 3d child of Thomas Bowie and Mary Robertson. Additional research has yielded information on the seven other children of Mary and Thomas who survived to adulthood.

1.       Thomas McMullen Bowie b. 1868, naturalized US citizen 6 Dec 1893 in Chicago, m. Annie E. Wilson 29 Aug 1895 in Wellington Ontario, Widowed as of 1910 US census in Cleveland Ohio, d. 18 April 1933, Cleveland Ohio. Buried at Mt. Forest
2.       James M. Bowie b. 2 April 1870, d. 17 June 1942, Des Moines, Iowa, m. Nicola M.____, immigrated to US 1890, lived Des Moines, Iowa, two daughters: Grace b. 1900, Alice b. 1903.
3.       (Robert) Robertson Bowie, b. 12 June 1872, lived Chicago, d. Florida 27 Oct. (illegible) birth record says ROBERTSON as given name with no Robert. Obit. Says Robert.
4.       Harold Alexander Bowie, MD, b. 1875, d. 6 April 1950 Ottawa, m. _______, who died 21 Jan. 1954. 3 children: 1.Murray Richardson Bowie, MD, b.1910, d. (murdered) 1947 Ottawa, married Catharine Kidd, one son; 2. Gertrude, Mrs. Stuart Helmsley, 3. Mildred, Mrs. Andrew Carnegie
5.       Roalston M. Bowie b. 1876, d. 1901, buried Mt. Forest
6.       Bessie Mabel Bowie – b. 7 Nov. 1880 six months old on 1881 census, 12 years old on 1891 census, m. James Reid, MD
Grandchildren in the home at 1911 census. Both shown as immigrating to Canada in 1903

2.       Barbara M. Bowie, b. Jan 1903 in USA

None of Thomas and Mary’s daughters had children. Anne (III. 4) and Helen (III - 12) never married. Mary (III - 10) married Alexander Pringle at about age 40 and did not have any known children.
