I have George Washington Bowie, b. abt. 1800 in Fauquier Co., Va., s/o John Bowie and Winnie Holtzclaw. He m. (1.) Harriet Ash, and had a son, James W., b. abt. 1821, m. (2.) Catherine Mason. He had a brother, Nimrod S., b. abt. 1804. George was the brother of my 3great-grandfather, Watson Bowie. I'll be happy to exchange information.
