Hello Cindy,
I am also related to the Bowies who are connected with the gGriffins. Fred Bowie (married to Katie griffin) was the son of Michael Bowie and Anne Gillan. Fred Bowie was a cousin of my grandfather, Mark Bowie (son of William Alexander Bowie (married to Ellen Gillan -sister to Anne Gillan). Andrew Bowie, John Bowie, William Alexander (my ggrandfather) and Micheal Bowie were the children of James Bowie and Margaret ?.
