Searching for information on Archibald Buie and family of Cumberland Co, NC. The name Archibald Buie shows up in the 1800 NC Census (Cumberland Co). In 1811 a will for an Archibald Buie probabted in the county of Cumberland named the following beneficaries:
Catherine (wife), Catherine, Marion, Effie, Daniel, William, and Archibald. An Archibald Buie also shows up in 1810(Cumberland) and in 1820(Robeson) in NC. In 1830 an Archibald Buie (age 70-60) shows up in the territory of FL, present day Gasden County, along with several other Buies. ANY information would be greatly appreciated.
