A Nicholas Bowers was apptd Tellico Indian Factor--
which is Tellico Indian Trading Store Manager apptd by the Colonial Government- see "INTRUDERS" recommended by R J Meigs--But there is also a Nicholas Byers of Henry Co. TN who is mentioned in the 2 different treaties where Nicholas Bowers/Byers is awarded the 1819 640 acre grant of Blount Co Land--there ages are close but not same, both are mentioned in 2 different versions of the same records. Levi Bowers b. 1815 is in Blount Co census the same time as Nicholas Bowers b. 1768 wife Catherine Saum of Shenandoah VA. Are theses the parents of Levi?
