According to my Bowerman records, George was the son of Michael Bowerman, the immigrant, b
1 Oct 1711 in Germany d 9 Feb 1795 at Weisenberg Twp, Northampton Co., PA. wife unk had five sons, Michael Jr., George, Peter, Henry and Johannes Bowerman (my ancester).
George mar Elizabeth and had Jacob b abt 1773 and a dau b 6 Jul 1784 Chr. 29 Aug 1784 at Ziegel's church. He was a land owner in Weisenberg Twp and a tax payer there and in Penns Twp, Northumberland Co., PA as a non
resident land owner. His brothers were there and perhaps looked after his interests there.
Shortly after 1790 he disappeared from PA and was later found in TN. His son Jacob mar Eve who was b abt 1764 in MD and d 1853. They had 8 children b bet 1793 and 1807, Jonathan, Jese, Susannah, Michael, Elizabeth, Mary, William and Eve.
