Thanks Jeffrey for the info on Bowermans of Genesee County, NY. I did a little search of the censuses and came up with a David Bowerman in Genesee County, NY (Licester Township) in 1810 and it listed one male under 10 and 1 male 16 thru 25 and 1 female 16 thru 25. Betsey was possibly the only child alive when the census was taken since, according to your records, Calvin was born July 3, 1810. With one of the children being named David, this is a possible match. As is the case many times, the census doensn't match up with children born at that time. I am going to dig a little deeper and see if I can't find out some more about this Bowerman family. I can't seem to find them after 1820.
