My grandmother was a bowerman from the states but am not to sure where. Have just started researching them and do have some info dating back to England 1648. Maybe if you contact me by e-mail we can get together and try and sort this out. Grandma Elizabeth was married to a Sturgess and had five shildren 4 boys and a girl. if you are interested let me know Regards Bill Sturgess
