My mother's maiden name is Bower.
Her father was Capt. George Bower, USMC b. 20 DEC 1893 in Philadelphia, d. 11 SEP 1956 in Marion, PA. He married 24 JUN 1922, in Richmond, VA, Trel Marion Charmichael b. 14 AUG 1899 in McDonough, Henry, GA, d. 21 DEC 1976 in Gordonsville, VA.
George's father was George Rosengarten Bower b. 1 AUG 1866 in Germantown, PA, d. 6 NOV 1919 in Philadelphia, PA. He married 10 JAN 1893, Agnes Lee Fuller, daughter of William Agustus Muhlenberg Fuller and Elizabeth Wilmer. She was born 20 DEC 1867 and d. 7 AUG 1954 at age 86.
George R. Bower's father was Henry Bower(s) b. 1833 (probably in PA), d. 26 MAR 1896. He married 5 MAR 1862, Lucretia Kirk Elliott, b. 26 JUN 1835 in PA, d. 2 JUN 1895.
Henry Bower's Father was Wilhelm Bauer (b. <1808>) who married Fanny Bennet.
