My local Questers would like to replace the broken tombstone for Civil War veteran E. J. Bower buried in a South Lyon Townwhip Cemetery. He died on October 9, 1862 at the age of 26 years, 1 month and 3 days. We need documentation to approach the Veterans Administration. What unit did he join? Do you have dates of mustering in or out?
