Hello Bower family!
Jacob R. Bishop is my great grandfather,married to Nancy (Nannie) Bower who was the daughter of Lewis Bower and Nancy Bowman.Jacob lived on a farm in Auburn district, now Riner,Va.
My question is would anyone on this board have a copy of his obit or know where he is buried? I have been looking for 6 years and still have not found it. He died March 5,1915 and his death cert. says Pamplin,Va.....BUT I thought maybe it would have been in a local Floyd or Montgomery County paper since he spent most of his life there. ANY info on Jacob R. Bishop , Lewis Bower and Nancy Bowman(all related) would sure be appreciated!
Would love obits for Lewis Bower and his wife Nancy as well.
Also willing to share info on this line.
