Hello

I'm trying to find out the origins of Joseph "Joe" BOWER, who was born around 1902, came to New Zealand and married Annie Beatrice SHAPCOTT in 1927, and died in Taradale, New Zealand in 1970.

His headstone inscription reads:
"J. BOWER R.N.Z.N. ANCHOR 263 WORLD WAR 1 AND 2
DIED 12 MAY 1970 AGED 68"
