I've recently been given an old, typed family tree which purports to show that my 6G Grandfather James ALISON (1658-1719) married Margaret BOWER, daughter of Alexander BOWER of Kinnetles or Keirnettles and his wife Christina DUNCAN, daughter of William DUNCAN of Lundie.
So far I can find no corroboration of these people or their relationships - can anyone help?
