I am looking for any information on this marriage. I have found some information that Joseph was married twice after Effie. The story goes that Effie died during child birth and thier son, Lester, died soon after, apparently around 1909. Not sure how true this is.
Joseph was also married to Maude M. Snider and possibly Faye McCormick. All marriages took place in Jackson County, Illinois from about 1904, starting with Effie, through 1920, ending with Faye. Joseph is buried with Effie and Maude in the Bower Family Cemetary in Jackson County, Illinois. Joseph died February 19th, 1953 in Jackson County, Illinois.
I hope I gave enough info to help me figure out what is going on with this Joseph character!
