Searching for info on Benedict (b.1783)and Elizabeth (Kell-b.1786) BOWER (maybe originally Bauer) from Baden, Germany, who immigrated to NY in 1833, lived in Illinois in the 1840's, and eventually moved to Iowa, where they died. Children were Joseph, Thomas, Teresa, Helen, and (possibly) Genevieve. Other names associated with this Bower line are MCCOLLEY and BURKETT.
