Thank you Charlene, I should of been more specific than what I wrote "And I know of many George Bowen's 1800-1880, from Bristol County" I have all census of George W. Bowen & Phebe A. nee Tucker and pretty much all I need on this Bowen line, having no indication of a Native American connection. And why I was wondering about the to Mulatto/Black Bowen's if Native American. However, a couple volunteers sent me a lot of info from NEGHS that puts my Bowen line to Hiram (1807) so now I am trying to connect back to Ephraim, b. my guess about 1780's as Hiram is born 1807. And as I wrote "I do not know the children from the union of Hiram and Philena, however from the records of NEGHS, I was told Hiram Bowen 2m. was to Mary A. Smith 28 Nov 1863, Raynham, MA. That Mary A. Smith is the dau. of Stephen and Mary Smith." I was also hoping to make a connection and learn of the children of Hiram's 2 marriages and hoping to connect with someone with same lineage. Thank you for your time and response. I have been researching over 17 years, belong to many Rootsweb mailing lists and have full access to Ancestry.com I also help on an average each year 100 people with their lineage. It is good to see another Paying it Forward. I appreciate your wanting to help and being a volunteer. Doc drdocyoung.com Notify Administrator about this message?
