Okay, I have found I bit more but have also hit a wall here. Lloyd Elnza (my ggrandfather) was married to Essie Lee Herlong. My GGGrandfather was Francis Marion Bowen and he was married to Nancy Ryals. My GGGGrandfather was John Bowen and he was born in 1823 in Lowndes Co., AL and died in Panola, AL. He was married to Emily Davis in Pike County, AL. I cannot go back any further than this. If anyone knows the father of John Bowen, please respond. Thanks.
