Ruth M. Bowen Services for Ruth M. Bowen, 78, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton. Interment will be in Wheaton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. In 1993, she was founding partner of Trust Company of Illinois, retiring in 2003. She previously served as senior vice-president of the trust department of the former Gary-Wheaton Bank, served on the Central DuPage Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, was an active board member of Wheaton Youth Outreach and a member of Hope Presbyterian Church. She was the beloved wife of the late Elmer "AI" Bowen; loving mother of Deborah (David) Steven; dear sister-in-law of Calvin (Roberta) Bowen; and fond aunt of William, James, Robert, Jeffrey and Susan.
