Questioning WFT Parents of Benjamin Bowen (1756)

After a year of researching the Ancestor of Benjamin Bowen I do not believe John Bowen is the father of Benjamin, as posted in so many family trees found in WFT.
Does anyone have any documentation/family records that verify Benjamin was actually a son of John Bowen and grandson of Moses?
