Your piece of advice is well taken. Writing nasty letters to those that have offered their help is without question in poor taste.
I agree absolutely with your statement "One cannot legitimately determine an individual�s lineage from a cemetery or a marriage listing." it seems to me as that is but a very small piece of the factual information required to accurately determine an individual's lineage.
