I know your message was posted quite a while ago, but maybe your subsequent research might help me.

My husband's ggggrandfather was George R. Bowen b 1783 in MA. He m Parmelia Booth of CT in 1805 and they moved, by 1836, to Lenawee CO MI.

His son, Nathaniel (1810-1891) was b in NY and mar 1) Sophia Phillips and 2) Elizabeth Spaulding. Nathaniel lived in Bristol NY and Clinton MI.

Nathaniel and Elizabeth's son, DeWitt (1857-1933) mar Clyde W. Stewart and lived in Lenawee CO MI.

Their son Claude A (1890-1912) mar Helen Bunting and lived in Lenawee CO. Their dau, Imogene, is my mother-in-law.

Any info you might have on George R. would be greatly appreciated.

Marcia
