Hello Kathy,
My ancestor Ephraim Doe Alias Bowler was a convict sent to Australia from South Lopham area in 1839. His father, I think was a William Bowell form Nth Lopham, Norkolk. The whole family took the name Bowell but were christened variously as Bowles, Bowler and Bowell. Have you found any connections with any of them?
