BOVE Family - from Luxembourg

I am researching my family tree for some time now - my mother is a born
BOVE (with a french - accent aigu - ) on the E.

I went back and could verify the BOVE filiation in the civil registers as
far as the 1750's in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg - those BOVEs all were born
in the capital of the Grand-Duchy.

Now, searching the Net, it appears that a lot of actual US - BOVEs came
from Italy.

Our oral family history says that the BOVEs came to Luxembourg at the end
of the 17th cent., from the part of Italy named Tirol. There is even, near
Monte Cassino, a Mount BOVE. (that's what an uncle of mine says, I didn't
check that one..)

A brother of my great-great-grand-father immigrated to the US in the 1880's
- to Minnesota, Minneapolis - the fornames of the father and his sons were
Mathias, Pierre (Peter) and Joseph, maybe an Aloyse too.

The contact to the Us - BOVEs broke away shortly after WW II - I have no clue whatsoever where to find the descendants as there are too many BOVEs (from Italy, from Dollendorf, etc...) around. So, if you have any information about BOVEs
that do not seem to originate in the Eifel or in Italy, I would be grateful....

Thanks for every feedback.
