Hi Lois,
I suspect that we are distant cousins! We are also black and we come from the Verdun branch of the family tree. Marie Boutte married Camil Verdun. One of their sons, Walter is my grandfather. We Verduns are having a family reunion in Verdunville, LA which is a little east of New Iberia this coming weekend...July 28-30. If you get this message before Wednesday, 7/27, please e-mail me back at jonverdun@cs.com. After that, I'll be enroute to the reunion.
