Hello Cheryl;

Hopefully I can help you. According to my files, I have the following:Sylvain Bourque was the son of Frédéric Bourque and Isabelle Melanson. He was born c. 1833. He married Cécile Leblanc in 1860 in Memramcook, NB. Unfortunately, I don't have her parents but I can check the local records and will do so. My files say that they have at least one son...Adolphe Bourque who married Emma Pellerin (Damien Pellerin and Gertrude Léger). It is to be noted that Sylvain remarried ,on Feb, 5, 1892 in Memramcook, NB, Apolline Bourque(Pierre Bourque and Isabelle Leblanc) ...Apolline was the widow of Philippe Leblanc(Pierre Leblanc and Marguerite Gaudet).
Frédéric Bourque was the son of Joseph Bourque and Barbe Downey.His wife, Isabelle Melanson was the daughter of Romain Melanson and Perpétue Melanson.

My files also indicate that Frédéric Bourque and Isabelle Melanson had 10 children including our Sylvain.

Sorry that I am long-winded..however let me know if you need anything else. My e-mail is paulauffrey@rogers.com

Paul
