On the WWI draft registration cards dated 9/12/1918, Jos. B Braux born Nov.1, 1876 shows married to Emerite Bourgeois in Carencro/Lafayette and worked as farmer. Also, on the census of 1900 for Paul Bourgiois (Bourgeois) and Onora (Honora), it shows E.E.T. (but in the handwritten copy shows "Emerite") - the transcriber had a problem - it shows Emerite "Bourgiois" born Sept.1879 as being married in 1898 for (2) years and no children and living with parents.
