Hello Dennis!

I am related to Suzanne and this family. I agree with your facts on the family and appreciate the detailed account that you've written here! It's helped me to answer some questions that I had on the tree, however unfortunately I have a few questions still, that I'm sure you will have the answers to.

First, could you point to me where you found your information on Raymond (Charles-Raimond's) parents? A local researcher in Newfoundland claimed his parents to be Jean Bourgeois, a native of France (and this Jean would be the son of Jean Bourgeois and Henriette Bonneau), and Angelique Poirier.
The Cheticamp census of 1809 appears to confirm this- we have a Raimond listed here as the son of Jean and Angelique:

But, one person's account and a census record doesn't really prove that this Raymond is the same Raymond Bourgeois that came to Newfoundland.

So, if you could point me in the right direction as to where to find more information on Raymond's parents (I have him listed as Charles-Raimond Bourgeois), that would be great! Also, do you happen to know where I could obtain Eugene and Josephine's birth record? I have Alexandre's.

Thank you very much!

Lauren
