Heidi, being curious about your post regarding a connection of the Bourdon family to Jeanne d'Arc, I would love to hear about it. I descend from Barbe Bourdon who married Pierre Brosseau in 1698 at Laprairie. Her parents said to be Jean Bourdon and Anne Benoit. But I haven't found who this Jean's parents are yet. I assume if Jean and Marguerite Legris were the founders of the Bourdon family in Quebec, they are the parents.
My middle name is Jeanne in honor of Joan of Arc so I have always had a great interest in her and her story. I do know she had brothers. Is that where the connection comes from? Thanks.
