Thanks, I would appreciate it. I think I have it somewhere from years ago, but it would be better to get digital. Is that the small cemetary that is in a corn field. I remember taking my daughter with me to see it and having to take her to the doctor the next day with chigger bites.
Interesting tidbits on Joseph Napolean Bourassa (father of Adamantinus.)
There is supposed to be a statement by Joseph N. Bourassa on file in the Kansas Historical Society to the effect that Wahbansee was his uncle. My guess is that the following is it:
"Tecumseh's Last Stand" by English Historian john Sugden. "In 1868, Joseph N. Bourassa, a nephew of Shabbona, one of the Indians mentioned in the Black Hawk story, told Draper that his uncle claimed that on October 4, the Indians held a council in which Tecumseh's opinion was that they would be defeated if they fought and that his own life would be lost in the battle.
