Well, close but no cigar, as they say.

My gr-gr-gr-gr-grandmother, Marie Josephte Bourassa (m. Joseph Lareau), was the eldest of the 18 siblings & half-siblings of François Albert Bourassa (m. Geneviève Patenaude), and was 30 years older than François.

I have lots of Bourassa info I can extract from my database and share, but we may have already been in contact. Your name sounds familiar! ;-)))
