I am seeking information beyond the Bourassa history I have. I am not sure how to create a tree, but will try. Myself - Kathy Bourassa, daughter of Pierre Bourassa (b. 2/14/43in Nova Scotia) m. Judy Brazzell (Pierre was brought to California in 1955, when he was 12.) Pierre was the son of Joseph Bourassa (born 10/2/11 or 10/4/11) and m. Marie Ida L'allier. Joseph had two brothers, one who became a priest and one who died at an early age (Lucien). Either Joseph or Marie was born at Trois Rivieres, and the other was born in Montreal. I believe it was my grandmother that was born in Montreal. Joseph served in the Canadian Army around 1943-1945. Joseph's father was Hercule Bourassa, who vanished when my grandfather was three, and returned when my grandfather was an adult living in Truro, Nova Scotia. It appears Hercule died in Truro, but this could be inaccurate. After his departure, my grandfather's mother, Alice Roy, went to live with her brother for a period of time. Both Hercule and Alice came from large families with ten or eleven children. I remember a few names that I'd heard from my grandfather when I was young were Eugenie, Hippolyte, Rene, Solange (I think she was on the L'allier side), and the Bourassa family was close friends with a family named Pelletier.
