Louis was born to Pierre Bourassa and Marie-Charlotte Voisard (incorrectly Wessard on marriage record)on April 24, 1811 at St-Leon-le-Grand, Maskinonge County, Quebec, Canada. He died August 11, 1879 at Fort Dunvegan, Alberta, Canada.
Pierre Bourassa (son of Pierre Bourassa and Marie-Therese Marion) was born April 2, 1766 and baptised the next day at St-Nicolas, Levi County, Quebec, Canada. He married Marie-Charlotte Voisard on April 16, 1792 at Louiseville (Riviere-du-Loup), Maskinonge County, Quebec, Canada.
Charlotte Voilard (daughter of Joseph Voisard and Marie-Charlotte Lemaistre-Auger) was born October 7, 1773 and baptised the same day at Louiseville. She died May 10, 1861 at St-Leon-le-Grand and was buried the next day.

Charlotte Bourassa was born about 1850. She married Isadore McKay (son of William McKay and Sophie Bousquet) in 1868 at Peace River, Alberta, Canada.
Louis Bourassa was born about 1852.
Jean (John) Bourassa was born about 1854. He married Lucia St-Cyr (daughter of Jean-Baptiste St-Cyr and Julie Mercredi) about 1876 at Fort Vermillion.
Elisabeth (Betsy) Bourassa was born about 1855-1867. She married William Racette (son of Charles Racette and Helene Boyer) on May 23, 1884 at Duck Lake.
Modeste Bourassa born about 1856-1862. He married Stephanie Primeau (daughter of Jean-Baptiste Primeau and Rosalie Smith) on February 6, 1883 at Duck Lake, Sakatchewan, Canada. He married Philomene Lussier (daughter of Toussaint Lussier and Louise Brazeau) on October 4, 1892 at Duck Lake.
Alexandre Bourassa was born about 1863. He married Adelaide Larocque (daughter of Jean-Baptiste Larocque and Louise Chartrand) on May 13, 1884 at Duck Lake.
Sophie Bourassa was born about 1865. She married Francois St-Cyr (son of Jean-Baptiste St-Cyr and Julie Mercredi) about 1886 at Fort Vermillion

The above family looks like it fits the one your describing best. There also is a Louis Bourassa (son of Louis Bourassa and Rosalie Forcier) who married Natalie-Rose Piche (daughter of Francois Piche and Nancy Ross) on October 19, 1897 at Duck Lake.
