I am new to the whole subject of family history.
I am Kenneth Ken) Phillips but I should have been Kenneth Bourassa. My Father, Ray Phillips was born Raymond Alfred Bourassa on July 7, 1914 in Plentywood, Sheridan County, Montana. His father, mother, and unnamed infant brother died in the 1918 flu epidemic. He was adopted by maternal grandparents, thus making his deceased mother Pearl Phillips Bourassa his adopted sister and his grandparents became his parents and his mother brothers and sisters (aunts and uncles by birth) became his brothers and sisters.
I have sketchy information on grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and great aunts and uncle and their children on the Bourassa side of the family that I will assemble and post here in a next week or so.
As I just found this Bourassa forum and just starting picking my father's brain (he'll be 90 next month and is still very much "with it") I need to make sense out of my notes before I put down any names here.
Is this of interest to this forum, or is this all assembled among the members already?
My interest is in both sharing any information I might have, and learning my heritage, as well as finding as many living relatives as possible.
