Pat, As I wrote before Francois Louis Bourassa and Sophie Trahan were married February 28, 1832 in St.-Jean-sur-Richlieu, Comte-de-St.-Jean, not St. Valentin. Although I thought it was St.-Valentin also. Saw a speak where speaker definately states marriage took place at as I have written. Would like to hear further from you. Did find out where Sophie Trahan was born in L'Acadie. I am a direct descendant of their eldest son, Francois-Xavier 'Alfred'. Which sibling does your lineage come from?
