Looking for a death date on a Joel Bourassa. JOEL BOURASSA "b 1822 m 22 Sep 1857 St Francis Xavier Ecorces Sara Ann Visger, b 14 Apr 1832 Detroit dau of Joseph Visger and Ann Godfroy," according to Denissen (1987, p. 156).

Joel Bourassa spoke French--as remembered by his grandson, Alexander LeRoy (Roy) Bourassa born 1905. Thus death date is probably sometime after 1905.

Joel is son of Eloi-Edouard Bourassa June 29, 1794. Eloi is son of Daniel Bourassa b. October 8, 1752 and Marguerite Bertrand. I also have no dates for Marguerite Bertrand.
