John Tadwasung was an indian preacher of the methodist persuasion. He lived in Alcona, Iosco, and Arenac counties Michigan. Levi was living with him, but I am not sure he was legally adopted since that was not a practive of the indians. Levi married Eva Stevens,(
Squanda) daughter of James and Sarah Stevens.(Squanda). She died 1 Oct 1941 of cardiac failure. They married the 6 Nov 1924 in Mikado, Alcona, MI. Had son named Norman, WWII veteran, worked in high steel, building the Mackinac Bridge. Last heard to live in Chicago. Levi also had a daughter, Elaine Lucy, born 6 Aug 1928, died, 16 May 1929, Alcona County MI. Levi and Eva both buried in the Indian Cemetery in Iosco County.
