My great grandfather was Alphonse Bourassa. He was born in 1862 somewhere in Canada. He had two marriages. My grandfather was the first born to his second wife, Antoinette Jacobs., They lived in West Rutland, Vermont. The children of his first wife were George, Oliver,( who never married,) Wilfred, (who had three children and lived in Jersey City,) and Alma, (whose married name was LaMay and had a daughter Margurite who had one son).The name of Alphonse's father might possibly have been Valere, and he had a brother by that name living in Vermont.He may have had a sister.
