Hi,

I am trying to trace the lineage of John George Boulton. He was born in England on November 29th, 1842. He was a staff commander for the Royal Navy and was stationed in PEI Canada during the 1870s-1881. He married Mary C.L. (last name unknown) who was born in Southern Australia in 1847. They may have met and married in Southern Australia as he was stationed there for a while. They had 6 children, all but the eldest born in Canada. Frederick J (1872), Arthur R.M. (1873), George H.G. (1876), Cyril C. (1877), Guy W.N. (1880....my great grandfather), and Muriel C.W. (1881). The family moved back to England in 1881, but John returned to Canada, living in Quebec City, after his retirement until his death in 1929.
I do not know if his wife or any of his children accompanied him. Guy moved back to Canada in the early 1900s and ended up in British Columbia where he was married twice and had two children from each marriage. I do not know what became of his siblings or their descendants.
I am trying to research the ancestry of John Boulton and would love to learn more about his other children and their families.
Any information or suggestions that anyone may have would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Jennifer
