I'm hoping to connect with Kim Pace who posted a message to this board May 2001 regarding Aaron A. Boulton, Sr and Jr of Mississippi, with Aaron, Sr. born Sept 13, 1805 and Jr. born March 22, 1847. I believe we have a connection. Ann Gavin, b. 1781 in Colleton District, South Carolina, married abt. 1804 Thomas C. Boulton. They were among many who migrated from the same area of S.C. to Mississippi in the 1830's. Other related families were those of William Beverly Clayton and Mary Gavin Clayton, and Charles Gavin, V and Margaret Horger Gavin. A Catherine Boulton married Abraham Andrew Gavin, son of Charles V, and it seems likely that she was his first cousin. Major David Gavin kept a diary of his trip from S.C. to MS in 1843, and he mentions visited "Aunt Boulton" and Aaron A. Boulton.
