Question for Alec Purdy...the "Boultinghouse Expert"

Susan Blackmon suggested I check with you regarding my "Boultinghouse" research... (Thanks again, Susan, if you're "listening"!!)

I've tried doing research in the past and have always hit a brick wall. I was recently blessed with my 1st grandchild, so my motivation has just taken a jump!!

I have very sketchy information, as follows:

My grandfather's name was Joseph Lester Boultinghouse - born around 1885, give or take 5 years.
My Mom "thinks" he was born in Louisville, Kentucky
He died in Ontario, Canada - Leamington or Essex or Chatham
He was one of 10 children - 5 boys and 5 girls:
Christopher
- had a son, Herb
James - died at 16 years of age
Elmer
Joe
Nina - lived in Chicago, IL
Carol

My grandmother's name (his wife) was Alice Frances (Adams) Boultinghouse

Their Children:
Hubert (Bert) - was a POW in England in WWI(?), assumed deceased/never heard from again
Edna
Anna Helen (my Mom)
Elmo or Elmer - DOB 7/18/???? (which, interestingly enough, is also my birthdate!) - died as an infant.

I'm in the process of moving, but I'm hoping to find some of my other notes soon which may help.

That's it...
Thanks for your time!!
