I show the wife of William Harvey Bass was Harriet Huie (1849 - 1935), daughter of Thomas Harrison Huie and Susannah Pace. William and Harriet Bass are in the 1870 Scott County, Arkansas Census - he is listed as age 29 and Harriet as age 20 making her born about 1850. They have a 1 year old son named William.

I show they had a daughter named Mary Ella Bass born Jan 22, 1877 and died Aug 14, 1970. She married William Allen Audas.

Harriet Huie and William Harvey Bass are both buried at Duncan Cemetery, Waldron, Scott County, Arkansas. I have copy of their markers which show his birth and death dates and her date of birth - Jan 20, 1849.

There are so many Hons, Huies and Boultinghouse's it can be very confusing to say the least.

As to Harriet Boultinghouse born 1835 - I show she was the first wife of Overton and they had a son named John born about 1855. I have since changed my mind that they had a daughter together.

I show Daniel Boultinghouse (1795- 1867) married Sarah Brown (1800-1846) and they had 3 children: Nancy, Daniel Brown, and Jonathan Brown.
