I sincerely apologize for not having responded sooner. I have been attempting to complete my Master's Degree, and have had little to no time to attribute to my family tree.
I see that your great-grandfather had a sister named Emelia. That's great news! You are the first person to whom I can trace information on my grandmother. Do you have more information you are willing to share? I have published my family tree, as I currently know it, on the Family Tree Maker website. I will send you the link just as soon as I send you this email.
I have been attempting to find out my family's heritage in relation to nationality. You see, my father always told us that we were of French and American Indian descent on his side of the family. In reading the history about where they were located in Maine, it appears as though the French inter-married with the American Indians. One such tribe were the Abenaki, or Wabenaki, indians. The historical information on the Adenaki Indians does state that there were many "inter-racial" marriages with the French and Indians. (I love the usage of the term "inter-racial" when referring to the Indians! NOT what we are accustomed to now!)
I look forward to hearing from you soon, and, again, sincerely DO apologize for my tardiness. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know!
PS I have a cousin in Connecticut who is VERY familiar with our (yours and mine) lineage, who may be VERY helpful with assisting you and I to piece the parts of the puzzle together! I refer to her on my Family Geneology website; her name is Dorothy.
