I am searching for information on a Valerien Boulet, born 1844, married Maricelina DeRusseau, born 1852. They had a child Felix P. Boulet, later apparently adopted by a family with surname of Raines/Raynes. Felix was my dad's grandfather, VAlerien would be Ggrandfather. No trace of the Boulet's beyond Valerien and wife. We don't know from where they originated. We don't know why Felix was adopted. We don't know the first names of the adoptive parents. All we know is that our lineage for Raines/Raynes can be traced to Felix. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
