Martha May Boulanger shows up in the 1880 Maine census as Martelline Belanger, in Houlton, ME (just south of Caribou). Her father was Octave Belanger, b. Dec 1848, Canada, d. 1925, ME. Her mother was Regina Ouellette, b. Jan 1850, Canada, d. 12/27/1928, Los Angeles, CA. Regina went by Jane or Jeanne. She changed her last name to Willette in the US to make it easier to pronounce.
Octave and Regina had 11 children, but only 4 were still alive at the 1990 census. The known children are your g-grandmother; Louise Mary Belanger, b. 3/19/1874, Houlton, ME; Jean Baptiste b. 1/25/1876; Henri J (Henry) b. Nov, 1883. It appears that all of the children had moved to southern California by 1922, except Martha May, for whom I don't yet have any details. Regina appears to have moved to CA after Octave died.
