Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My mother is Thelma Broaddus Allan (born 1921 in Caldwell, Burleson Co. Texas)and presently residing in Tarpley, Texas. Her parents were John Crunk Broaddus and Mary Lucille McIver Broaddus (born same location). Her grandparents were Henry Lee Broaddus and Vlasta Marie Klukan. Her great grandfather was Ruben Broaddus and her great great grandfather was Judge Andrew S. Broaddus, an original trustee of Texas A&M U. and debater of Sam Houston.
He led a wagon train of settlers from Sparta, Virginia to Buleson Co. Tx. in the 1840's. Let me know if I can help further.
